After a winter rolled around and it was safe to plant young trees, we got a dwarf Mexican lime and a Mid-Pride peach for our gray water project. It may look like they are too close together, but we are looking forward to trying the Backyard Orchard Culture techniques suggested by the Dave Wilson Nursery.

The hole is loosely filled with pine needles, grass clippings, and leaves from the yard. There is still plenty of room to add more compostable materials.
